I’m Megan, the face behind this one woman biz.
I live in Mount Gambier with my fiancé and two beagle babies.
My friends call me Mpeg which is where the name comes from.
Originally I started working with resin creating flow art pieces, then eventually fell into floral preservation.
I’m in my element in nature. 95% of my botanicals are hand picked, dried, and then casted by me. A small amount of my flowers are also sourced from local stores in the South East.
I’ve always been creative and a bit of a perfectionist, which is where resin art fits in perfectly. It’s beautiful, tedious, and requires a lot of patience.
I have a strong affinity for anything aesthetically pleasing so I wanted to create things people can admire and cherish.
No two pieces are ever the same, each artwork is a one of a kind which cannot be replicated.
I’m a spiritual person, I am all about vibes and I believe everything holds energy. Many of my pieces will contain crystals and be infused with reiki to amplify the energy.
Enjoy x
I have been working with resin and preserving flowers for a number of years now. Over time and through much trial and error, I have gained a great deal of experience and would like to think I now have this down to a fine art!
When you invest in one of our pieces, you are investing in the years of experience and practice it took to get these beautiful artworks to the standard they are today.
Many people are unaware that epoxy resin is a hazardous chemical, and can be toxic if not cured properly. Working with resin requires PPE including gloves, glasses, skin protection, a vapour mask and should be in a well ventilated area.
I don't offer workshops due to the limited size of my studio.
I have tried and tested a number of epoxy resins over the years, until settling on a couple of great brands that meet all of my expectations!
Each of the products I use are high quality epoxy resins, which have the following properties:
Contain UV inhibitors
Temperature safe up to 110-120°C
Food contact safe
All flowers must be 100% dried before being cast into resin, otherwise they will rot over time.
95% of my botanicals are hand picked, dried, and then casted by me. A small amount of my flowers are also sourced from local suppliers in the South East.
